Thanujah Balasingham is an accomplished engineer and manager with over 25 years of experience in Project/Process/Reliability Engineering, Validation, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance Operations across pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. Known for her collaborative leadership and ability to drive organizational transformation, she has consistently delivered excellence in complex, regulated environments.
Currently serving as Head of Reliability & Support at Sanofi, Thanujah leads cross-functional engineering teams responsible for compliance, reliability and process engineering, metrology, sterilization validation and continuous improvement across GxP pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. She applies advanced methodologies including RCA, FMEA, and VDM to maximize asset uptime and operational efficiency.
Throughout her career, Thanujah has managed major capital projects and demonstrated excellence in commissioning, qualification, and operational leadership. She has been in various roles in Engineering and Maintenance in major pharma industries including Teva and Apotex.
She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and maintains professional memberships with PEO and PMI.
