Career Exploration into Pharma and Biopharmaceutical Industry

Abstract

ISPE Canada’s Emerging Leaders Committee is looking to host an event with the goal of introducing new grads/current students to the diversity of opportunities available within the biopharmaceutical industry. Our intention is to facilitate direct interaction between emerging talents and esteemed industry leadership, in order to dispel the notion of exclusivity associated with entering the industry. 

With this event, we are excited to host an open and informational panel that will serve as a platform for sharing valuable insights and information. Our aim is to empower individuals from different fields of study to discover their niche within the industry, where their passions and skill sets can be fully utilized.

 
Learning objectives:

• Students will gain exposure to a breadth of career opportunities available in Biopharmaceutical Engineering
• Students will learn about non-linear career paths and career advice from industry professionals
• Participants will learn strategies for how to build skills and gain experience that can lead to employment in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Participants will develop networking connections and practice networking skills in a supportive environment
