Louise Fischer is an Engineering Project Lead in Sanofi’s Global Engineering – Americas Project Delivery team. With more than 15 years of experience across the biopharmaceutical, nuclear, water treatment, and energy sectors, she specializes in leading multidisciplinary teams through complex engineering projects.
Louise began her career in South Africa, where she worked on large scale infrastructure and industrial projects. This early exposure across diverse technical and stakeholder environments shaped her adaptable leadership style and continues to inform the global perspective she brings to her work.
Since joining Sanofi in 2021, Louise has held progressive leadership roles in process engineering and project management, including leading the full process engineering scope for the B100 biomanufacturing project – guiding teams through commissioning, qualification, and handover. Known for her collaborative approach, she has extensive experience driving alignment between engineering design, quality operations, and end user needs.
Louise holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering, is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, and is PMP certified. She is passionate about advancing women in STEM and strengthening engineering excellence within the biopharmaceutical industry.
